Christmas tree is waiting!

A concert of Poznań Nightingales, illumination a Christmas tree, sending a letter to Santa Claus and warm gifts for our guests. These are the attractions awaiting you on the 5th of December at 4:00 PM in front of MTP. Share this moment with us!

There is already a Christmas tree in front of the fair building where we would like to invite all the inhabitants of Poznań (and not exclusively!) on Thursday, the 5th of December. Event agenda is the following:

- Illumination of Christmas tree full of lights and decorations.
- a concert of Christmas carols by Poznań Nihgtingales Boys' and Men's Choir of the Poznań Philharmonics
- first 100 people to attend the event will receive a Christmas gift, a warm set protecting from frost.

Illumination of the 15m Christmas tree located in front of the Eastern Hall will be accompanied by a light show. Andrzej Byrt, President of the MTP Board, together with the winner of the "Letter to Santa Claus" competition that finished on our Facebook fan-page on the 3rd of December will officially illuminate the Christmas tree lights. In the competition participants were requested to write a letter to Santa. For more than 2 weeks the letters have been subjected to voting to select the best wishes to be awarded with gifts.

During the event winning letters will be printed and sent by special delivery to Santa Claus. The pack will be delivered by courier to be sure that it reaches the addressee on time.

Poznań International Fair has also prepared a special surprise for the inhabitants of Poznań. People who attend "MTP Christmas illumination will receive a warm gift from us. The Fair prepared as many as 100 sets of winter gloves and fleece hats to protect you from even the lowest temperatures. Fair Snow Maiden will distribute the gifts.

Children together with their parents are also welcome to attend several attractions on the 6th and 7th of December. In these days a Kid Zone will be open at the premises of Poznań International Fair. It's a unique zone for attractions, competitions, workshops, art and sport classes, organized within the framework of Art and Craft Festival and Cavaliada. Among others, Kokopelli Indian village and a knight camp will await both younger and older kids. The HAJDASZ centre prepared Santa Claus balls for the youngest in which they will be able to participate on the 6th of December at 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM and on the 7th of December at 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM. Additionally visitors will have the opportunity to learn how to make scrap booking Christmas decorations, decorate candles, what is decoupage and how to decorate balls.
